Riverside County’s recently approved Legislative Platform for 2020 includes support for development of rail transport-related infrastructure in California, including streamlining of the entitlement process and limits on litigation against projects with significant regional benefit.
It also supports the creation of federal and state incentives to induce shippers to reduce reliance upon trucking for goods movement and invest in badly needed improvements such as intermodal facilities and rail/transfer yards. Read more in the Riverside Press-Enterprise
